Sailing commences at Jr. Pan American Games in Paraguay

The Bahamas, for the first time in the history of the Junior Pan American Games, has 2 athletes competing in sailing.

The Bahamas Olympic Committee named Joshua Higgins and Eliza Denning to compete in the ILCA 7 and ILCA 6 events (Olympic class equipment).

Featuring more than 4000 athletes in 42 disciplines, this event not only offers a platform for young athletes but also the opportunity to qualify for the 2027 Pan American Games.

The sailing events are scheduled to take place August 5-18, 2025 at San Jose Beach, located in Encarnacion, Paraguay.
