Martinborough wins Bahamas ISCA Championship
Following two days of fierce action on the water, the Nassau Yacht Club’s Donnie Martinborough topped the podium at the 2026 Bahamas International Sunfish Class Association (ISCA) National Championships, staged at the Montagu Foreshore over the weekend.
Martinborough, a three-time sunfish world champion, led all sailors with a net total of 15. He earned a pair of first-place finishes in races three and seven of the series, and was also the top sailor in the grand masters (60-69) age group.
Tanaj Manos, representing the Exuma Sailing Club (ESC), was the top competitor in the adult (19-39) age group and the second-best finisher of the competition. He recorded a net total of 20 to finish second at the two-day event.
