Sir Durward Knowles National Junior Sailing Championship - 19-21 February, 2026
Organized by the Regatta Desk (Local Government) in cooperation with the Bahamas Sailing Association, Bahamas National Sailing School and the Nassau Yacht Club, this event is the largest national junior regatta of the year. Primarily, it is the National Championship for the E class sloops, sailed only by juniors. This year we expect approximately 25 sloops, with representation from Grand Bahama, Eleuthera, Harbour Island, Long Island, New Providence and Exuma. Competition will be fierce! Over 100 junior sailors will compete in E Class, Optimist, Sunfish and ILCA fleets with live broadcasting via ZNA and the Regatta Desk (on Facebook).
