Drake Knowles wins junior national sunfish title
21 Nov 2025 - Long Island sailor Drake Knowles sailed away as the overall championship title at the 2025 Bahamas Junior Sunfish National Championships, hosted by the Exuma Sailing Club, in Great Exuma last weekend.
Knowles, who sails for the Mack Knowles Junior Sailing Club (MKJSC), took first place with a total of 36 points and a net total of 12. Placing second was the Exuma Sailing Club’s (ESC) Emit Knowles, who totaled 22 points with a net total of 16. Kaiden Knowles, who sails for the Bahamas National Sailing School (BNSS), claimed the third podium position. He finished with a total of 24 points and a net total of 18.
